Stephen Bailey

Before his 1st session, he knew all there was to know about football and was confident coaching 7 year olds would be easy. 10 years later, having completed the FA Level 1, 2 & UEFA “B” Licences, FA Youth Level 1 & 2 and Futsal Level 1, Stephen ascribes to Stuart Pearce’s coaching assertion that “the more involved with the game you become the less you know about it” !!!

In addition to coaching, Stephen put forward proposals to improve club communications early in 2013 and was promptly appointed to the Junior Sports Club management committee. He took on the Chairmans role in 2016 and has steered the club and charity through several major initiatives – becoming an Incorporated Charity, being the most important one, for which he now serves as Trustee, Director and Chairman.

In his professional life he has a circa 30 year career thus far in Support Services and Outsourcing (BPO & ITO), along with 25 years as a professionally qualified Marketer (MCIM) His broad base of expertise in business strategy & planning, opportunity creation & development, transformation & change and project / service delivery management briefs in organisations of different sizes & scales, provides very useful frames of reference for Tornadoes as it continues to grow and evolve as a charity and now series of sports and league offerings.
